Likewise when you return the car do not just drop it off, make sure the car is inspected while you are there. Ask the hire company if they are happy with the car as it is returned and ask them to make a note of this. Do not be fooled by the relaxed carefree attitude of the car hire person. They will scam you and before you know it you are paying for all those defects caused by others.
