Top European Resorts

If you are looking for a holiday destination in Europe this year then here are
some of the places which should be appearing on your shortlist of best locations
to visit.

The first destination you may wish to consider is the romantic cultural city
that is Frances capital, Paris. When visiting Paris there are the obvious sights
of the Arc de Triomph, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. However, Paris has lots
more on offer than these sights with romantic walks through the historic areas
and shopping in some of the world`s most famous boutiques.

Other European capitals you may wish to visit on a city break holiday include
Berlin with the remnants of the Berlin Wall, the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican
City, or the world heritage site of Croatia`s Dubrovnik Castle. All of these
cities offer you culture, romance and historic views at reasonable prices.

For those who are lovers of sand and sea then Europe has many beaches to offer.
The first choice of beach destinations would be Turkey and the golden sands
along the Turkish Riviera. With mile upon mile of beaches and endless sunshine
Turkey has a lot to offer those who want a traditional sunshine holiday. If
however you want to be slightly more adventurous then you could try a Gulet
cruise on a traditional Turkish boat around the many islands along the
coastline.

Another top destination for beach holidays is Cyprus. Cyprus is known for the
beaches and fun activities that are available. If you are staying in Cyprus then
you must try some of the numerous water sports that are on offer from
windsurfing to sea kayaking; Cyprus is a haven for water lovers.

The Balearic Islands are another top destination for sun worshipers. The islands
host plenty of sandy beaches, restaurants, water parks, night life and water
sports. There are also other family attractions available and trips on pirate
ships that take you out into the Mediterranean Sea for the day.

The final top destination in Europe is the Spanish Costa Blanca and the Spanish
holiday destination that we are all familiar with Benidorm. There is a lot more
to Benidorm than the night life and beach. There are plenty of attractions and
theme parks in the local area that are great for the single traveller or a
family. The train runs to Alicante and is a great way to see the coastline
between the two cities. If you decide on a cheap holiday in Benidorm then
it is worthwhile considering some excursions out of Benidorm to the surrounding countryside.
