Holiday Scams

There has been a lot written lately about “Holiday Scams” . The Holiday Photo Site would like to make more people aware of these scams. Do you know of any scams that holiday makers need to be aware of, THPS would like to hear from you.
They may be associated with, Holiday Reps /Rental Cars / Taxis / Scratch Cards / Time Share Schemes / Holiday Clubs / Identity Theft or Passports - just to name a few.

Using Credit Cards Abroad

Most of us carry our credit cards when going abroad to be used in an emergency, even if we take cash with us. However, its worth checking before going what the cost is going to be if you use your card abroad. Using your credit card abroad can cost you dearly. Check out Nationwide or the Post Office you will find they do not put charges on their cards when used abroad. If you have had any bad experiences using cards abroad The Holiday Photo Site would like to hear about your experiences and tips.
