    Try putting coloured tape or ribbon on the handles of your suitcase so that you can identify it easier when your luggage is on the carousel at the airports,

    Shop around for holiday insurance, you will be surprised how much cheaper you can get it rather than just saying yes to your travel agent. If you go abroad more than once a year check to see how much it is for an annual policy.
